The Future Technology of Web Access

Kinds of Devices that People will Use to Access Websites in Five or Ten Years from Now

With the growth limitless connectivity via the fastest Internet in five or ten years from now, Cisco predicted that many people would employ sensor networks. Particularly, the use of low-senor networks and virtual reality devices would facilitate full-time access to websites. This will help collect, analyze, transmit, and distribute data over a large-scale range. For example, in five years, there would be sensor networks like Zigbee being embedded on smartphones (Bort 1). Consequently, smart devices like 6LoWPAN and Z-wave are rooted in smart meters to access the web in ten years. 

Access to the Web would Greatly Impact Information Sharing for Human’s Daily Life. 

With the ever-increasing number of web users each year, it is estimated that more than 4 billion people have access to websites. Besides, it implies that many people would have various smart devices for accessing the Internet (Bort 1). Therefore, access to the web would greatly affect information sharing as part of a human’s daily life, especially through interaction on Social Media platforms. 

Virtual Reality Results from the Advancement of Technology

With the constant advancement of technology in ten years, there would be the commercialization of hologram to help implement the features of Virtual Reality. Thus, the present application of HoloLens vis-à-vis the aid of Google Glass would considerably augment reality.

 How the Trends in Virtual Reality would Impact the Current Web Design

The augmentation of virtual reality through the application of HoloLens would overshadow the current web design. Therefore, web developers should be prepared to design highly competitive brands that would rival the recently launched VR Oculus Rift 2016 in their bid to adapt to technological changes.
