Pitch book for a company
Pro forma statement
This is an estimated or projected financial statement that shows a reasonably clear future picture of the financial situation of a firm if some financial assumptions remain true or the current trends of a firm continue. This statement is routinely used in preparing what if scenarios, cash requirement estimate, business plans formulation.
Carlberg (176), the purpose of financial planning is to project and understand the financial future. Financial projections are used to forecast and evaluate business plans, establish operating budgets, and estimate the company’s future financial requirements. When a company creates a proforma statement, it creates or establishes a standard way of fore casting its financial future.
Conclusion
Because of the stable balance sheet of the company, ability to create shareholder value consistently and strong dividend, I rate the company as an attractive buy.
