Instilling in others the values of serving the public interests, thus encouraging engineers to focus on their potential lifetime employability. 3. I review my competencies continuously to ensure that year-year qualifications are up to date with the increasing stringent of professional standards and anticipations in public (Hawse 20). 3. Assessing my current interests and abilities. Considering new-based competencies, skills, and knowledge (Engineers Canada 10).Reviewing my professional work practices and activities.Review of my design codes, the used material standards, and my performance appraisals (Hawse 15).     3. Self-assessing of competencies, strengths, and learning needs. Record courses are taken.Record books, periodicals, and articles written during engineering practice.Recording recent certifications and performance reviews.
  4. Teaching and instructing other engineers on the needs of increasing their agile adaptability in an ever-changing workplace environment. 4. The ability to assess my development needs that perfectly match with the yearly review of the engineer’s professional standards as well as the code of ethics. 4. My analysis of the future sets of new skills and knowledge that I need to experience in the next 2-5 years. 4. Making critical decisions concerning the techniques and CPD opportunities and the planned goals that I have so far achieved in the last 4 years (Hawse 18).
