Introduction

Attaining a sustainable business environment currently is not as easy it was a decade ago and will certainly be different in the near future. The radical transformation witnessed in the global market has been triggered partly by strong and complex interacting forces, signaling possibly of change from time to time. Some of the drivers of innovations range from the changing nature of humanityinitiated by urbanization, population growth, and improved health,to the rising quest to stay within planetary limits despite the rising pressure from internal and external powers. For instance, total information awareness is raising uncertainties between the old economic paradigm and the aspect of centralization. The article “Doing Business in 2030: Four Possible Futures” presents an insightful view of how the business world is changing in response to aspects like the urge to stay within planetary boundaries. Other factors including the changing nature of humanity also determines whether an industry remains sustainable or not. Most business organizations have focused on highly personalized artificial intelligence (AI) to attain intense networks of huge data to ensure their services are not only affordable but also seamless, effective, andprotecting privacy.

Background

Technology has remained central to a majority of businesses eventhough its full realizationhas been in lieu due to rapid innovations. According to Park, between 2018 and today, privacy and freedom policies have been diminished as a result of companies’ efforts to achieve Total Integration (28). In 2021, most business organizations will have incorporated systems similar to HearQ, a non-invasive brain computer interface with capability of discerning speech and voice (Park 28). The HearQ, known as Scarlett, will be efficient when analyzing customers’ emotions, their thought patterns, and physiological data (Park 28). Other improvements assumed to be important when finally implemented include the introduction of Scarlett Thrive module which will involve a combination of therapy, training aspect, and closer relationship (Park 28). Therefore, any large enterprise opting to succeed needs to integrate at least one or more AI companions for proper end-to-end service delivery.

Analysis of the Scenario

Total information awareness plays a critical role in shaping international business towards 2030. In the article “Doing Business in 2030: Four Possible Futures”, Jacob Park presents a series of events that indicate how business organizations with respect to each country realigns towards 2030.One of the events influenced by total information awareness include remote control of Chinese combat aircraft by pilots who will be wearing brain-computer interface headsets by 2020 (Park 28). In 2022, Australia will strive to preserve the Great Barrier Reef by introducing genetically engineered corals capable of withstanding extreme climatic changes,and by 2030, the world will witness launching hydrogen-powered airplane (Park 28). Essentially, the highlighted cases show how businesses will tryto automate their operations retaining employment opportunities for the vast majority of specialists with the required skills. Similar to examples shown in class, the case of total information awareness has gone through a series of improvements evident from the rush with which companies are trying to embrace artificial intelligence. Scarlett, a major boost in automation, will attract enterprises when finally launched in 2021(Park 28). Even as this remains a virtual plan in most country, when finally realized, it will have transformed from mere HearQ to an advanced Scarlett Teacher. Thus, this automation will result in a stable climate for commercial engagements with less disruption to major resources.

The adoption of Total Information Awareness (TIA) stands to benefit the business organizations massively. Other than helping these enterprises in achieving a stable commercial environment, it will be ideal in monitoring resources, supply chain, employees, and consumers. Besides, it is a tool that encourages automation of business operation which results in controlled consumption of energy and good health outcomes. People use the advancement in technology to achieve efficient use of scarce resources and to optimize energy use (Park 30). Moreover, the innovation of the TIA has led to rise of circular economy and shortened supply chain, leading to improved customer demand data. In addition, employment is no longer random as it was before the introduction of the TIA (Park 30). Companies use the new algorithms to determine a match between employers and those seeking employment. China is one country that is almost achieving total integration through a revolutionized aircraft used by their Air Force.

Conclusion and Recommendation

Nearly all businesses are on the rush to attain a sustainable business environment despite the changing trends triggered by technological advancements. As governments intensify their innovative capacity, the need to integrate artificial intelligence in normal business operations has equally remained primary to most organizations. Thus, industries must adjust their policies to be able to meet the pace of the global standards change. One major step is to have a functional structure involving Scarlett technology to foster customer value, minimize wastage of resources, and ensure a clear remodeling of social contract.
