I read your advertisement in the newspapers about the financial management internship positions with great interest. Although I am not finished with my schooling, I feel compelled to make known my desire to work for your organization in this capacity. I am especially interested in the mentorship program that was mentioned in the advertisement since I believe that it would be good way to develop and grow in my career path.

I am currently a student at Northern Arizona University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, junior year. I am a hardworking and highly motivated individual in need of constructively making use of my time in my school breaks for the holidays. I have had some work experience whereby I have been a grounds man during my spare time. This involves ensuring grounds are clean at all times, as well as supervising other workers at the site. I have also had some experience providing tuition to other students in lower classes by assisting them in their learning. During the holidays, I have also worked at a cybercafé where I gained insight into working with computers and the internet.

I believe that I have the necessary skill set to adapt to a busy environment such as your organization provides and become a tremendous asset. My passion, for matters finance motivates me to learn more about the subject and a real life environment will enable me to have a first hand experience regarding my choice of career. I believe that your company offers the best financial services and it would be a pleasant opportunity to join your company.
