What shape will the International Society tradition take in the future?

To tackle this broad question, my research will concentrate on the following issues. First, the relationship between the responsibilities of citizenship and universal human rights is vague and perplexing in today’s international law. (Jackson, 2007) Second, the influence of the traditional International Society approach based on state sovereignty on environmental challenges is controversial. Third, there is a debate among the International Society scholars whether state sovereignty will eventually cease to be the foundation institution of world politics, as it has been for the past three and a half centuries. (Jackson, 2007)
