Patient’s rights are a growing concern for both patients and health care organizations. Select a population you would like to research on the topic of information release. For example, would you be willing to release your medical records to an agency to upload to the internet to be shared with your doctors, if they could guarantee complete security? Also, how would you feel about pharmacies selling your information to drug companies? These are just a few examples of patient’s rights and security, but they are many current issues to research. Create an 8-10 PowerPoint slide presentation addressing patient’s rights and security as it relates to a current issue.
