What is sin?
1. Each student will select a question and then choose one Western religion and one Eastern religion and prepare a written analysis of how each religion might answer that question, along with supportive evidence from the sacred scriptures of each.
2. You may also wish to offer your own personal reflections on the question based on individual experiences and/or insights gained throughout the semester.
3. This paper should be four-five pages in length (word-processed and double-spaced), with references to the text/texts where appropriate.
4. I am looking for papers that are well-organized, comprehensive, and thoughtful, demonstrating not mere repetition of facts, but individual engagement with ideas raised.
