Project Management – Planning the Project

For my individual assignment I need to write a research paper on the difference in planning practices in projects that are contracted out versus those that are carried out in house. What level of planning is the responsibility of the owner company versus the contractor?
This assignment should integrate the current literature and supplemental readings. I am expected to apply theoretical and conceptual learning to my topic above. A review of the current literature on the topic is required, so that you can incorporate best practices and research developments in your paper.
