Using at least three sources (one of which cannot be Wikipedia, CIA Fact book, or other generic website), Choose a country or region of the world in which you have some interest. Your paper should address the following issues (among others you see as important):

Describe the political and social construction of the country, including:
– Is the country a dictatorship or democracy?
– Who is the head of state and/or government (president, prime minister, or both)?
– What are the primary ethnic, social, and religious groups in the country?
– Name the most powerful political parties (if there are any) and what they support.

What are some of the current problems facing this country? What are the big issues confronting its future? What are some solutions to these problems that are being discussed?

Finally, why is this country important to study? Why does it interest you?
