For your paper, discuss the epidemiology of your chosen topic. A good example of this kind of paper is the surgeon general’s paper on the epidemiology of mental illness. (See Mental Health assignment for that link.) Your paper should include information from HP2010 (both original and updated review material), the use of epidemiological terms and information, recommendations for all levels of prevention (where applicable – if not applicable, point this fact out), information across the lifespan, social impact, and strategies for health promotion and disease prevention. Information about levels of prevention – in your textbook and in lecture notes (“course materials”).
