The purpose of this project is to explore the issues of technology administration.

Topics to choose from:

1. Why does the influence of new, expanded, or existing technology sometimes fail to improve the processes of an organization?

2. How can quality be influenced by sustainable competitive advantages gained from technology?

3. How can the various IT Governance structures such as Sarbanes – Oxley affect the quality of an organization?

4. Reflect on the zero time organization. How can organizations with similar traits use the 5 disciplines to ensure quality in their respective organizations?

Paper criteria:

1. Describe the technology well enough that the reader can see that you understand it.

2. Describe in some depth the social & historical impacts of the technology.

3. Provide at least 5 or more peer-reviewed articles. Make sure to cite in your text facts, dates, & other information taken from another source.

4. Paper is written in APA format (if you are not familiar with the APA style, please take a moment to go to http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/)

Other Important Things to Consider

1. Bibliography – You will prepare your references (i.e. bibliography page). This will have at least 8 references. Remember you are looking for scholarly, peer reviewed articles. Note: Wikipedia is not a scholarly resource.

2. Your paper must be no less than 10 pages of text (the 10 pages does not count the title page, table of contents, abstract page, reference page, or any other appendices you might include although these items will be included with your draft & final).

3. Plagiarism is NOT tolerated. Papers will be thoroughly checked through multiple professional plagiarism databases and exceptionally by myself and my peers. Any plagiarism will be an instant 0% on the paper and possible expulsion from the University.
