A cover sheet should be included as the first page of the assignment indicating the class number, Student’s Name, Title of the Paper, and the number of pages submitted.

INTERNET ARTICLE REVIEW: Each student will be required to review an applicable article in the field Small Business and Entrepreneurship. The article must be selected from the Internet. Copies of the article being reviewed and the URL web link are required to be submitted as part of the appendix of the submission.
Upon selection of the article, the student will complete a written evaluation, 3 – 6 pages in length (double spaced). The evaluation will consider the article’s relevance to the concepts, small business implications, theory discussed in the textbook, as well as the discussions and class assignments. Articles dealing with the student’s projected business interest area will be acceptable.

The review of the article must include the analysis of at least one major textbook concept. In this review, the student must compare and contrast the theoretical concepts in the text and the class discussion with the real-world implications of the articles reviewed.

This review is designed for each student to critically think about the issues involved in Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Students should use this process to understand how concepts and real world issues come together to clarify the overall value provided by small business and how small business is created through the development of human capital, innovation, and risk taking by those seeking independence and freedom.

Each student must develop their paper by comparing and contrasting the selected article to the chosen concepts in the text. Failure to bring concepts into the article review will result in a reduction in grade for the paper.
