Pat is reading the morning e-mail and receives the following assignment:

Nutcase Widgets is having a problem with the e-mail server they use for internal e-mail getting hacked from the outside. One of its network folks has suggested an intranet but the CEO, Tafoya Alexander, is not too up to speed about how an intranet works. Could you draft a quick e-mail explaining how they work and their security advantages? I think Nutcase has a file server, HR web server, and a staging server for its customer-facing web server. Which of those would be good candidates for an intranet?
