Anti-globilization

In recent years several Latin American countries in the Western Hemisphere have turned to leftist governments and have tried to dissociate themselves from pro-western policies and economic models. why are some developing countries trying to resist globilization and Western political models while the entire world seems to have embraced this trajectory? By looking at one or more of these countries, use the “interests, interactions, and institutions” framework to explain the phenomenon.
