Anterograde Amnesia: Memento versus the case of H.M.

The movie Memento portrays the fictional sequence of events involving a man suffering from anterograde amnesia. His condition is well rendered in the story by the ability of the director. However, some inaccuracies can be found in the portrayal of the amnesic condition. Also the overall story could be considered unrealistic in light of what is known about real cases of anterograde amnesia (for example, the famous case of H.M.).
