goromo national park is a home of many animals. It is a habitat for herds of elephant, elk, pronghorn and bison roaming the wetlands in search for grass. The park is also a home for wild dogs and wondering coyotes that roam the neighbouring town looking for meals. However, Ngoromo is famous for two majestic things; herds of elephantsand clear view of Mt. Tristan, the tallest mountain in the world, with a height of 6,000 meters.

Learn to Be a Ranger
Adults and kids can learn ranging through the Ngoromo ranger program. Just get the free booklet available on the visitor’s desk or visitors bookstore and learn about how various caves were formed within the mountain in the park. You can also learn to identify different animal tracks. Once you are done with the booklet return it to the bookstore or the visitors desk and embark on your ranging.
Tour the Caves
Among many activities in the park, touring the caves is the most exciting. You will discover unique formations such as frostwork, popcorn and box work, rare formation found only in Ngoromo National Parke caves.
