In every organization, there is always a leader, regardless of the shape. The leaders’ approach to the management of the organization determines its operational conditions and overall traditions that guide the behavior in the organization(Palacios, 2013). Most leaders who are at the core of the organization always regard leadership positions as an opportunity for their growth; to enhance themselves and the organization as well(Palacios, 2013). However, the critical aspect is confronting the focus of the organization, thus the point from which the growth of the organization should begin.
However, focusing on such issues is always a failure to usually think about the capability of a leaders’ approach as to whether it is based on solitary thinking or group/team thinking. Thus, according to authoritative culture, this is a significant part that is often not obvious in many organizations(Palacios, 2013). In this case, every arrangement that a leader takes always influences the type of culture that could be implanted in the organization. As such, it implies that every leader or leadership is unique, with alternating limits of imaginative strains, vagueness, and vulnerabilities(Palacios, 2013). Thus, they will lead based on what they prefer or think is correct, sometimes unaware of what is in reality.
In line with this, there are four possible ways that one would lead a group of people in the organization. The immediate approach will first include engaging the group in ice-breaking activities once the group is together. It involves enabling everyone to introduce themselves and ensuring each member speaks(Palacios, 2013). The second approach will consist of using team-building exercises that are aimed at helping people learn how they can work together besides creating trust amongst themselves. Here, technological support becomes useful in planning the activities; for example, use particular computer programs such as virtual team building activities to introduce challenging but interactive activities to the team(Palacios, 2013).Thirdly, the team would be encouraged to embrace good communication. This is intended to enhance goodwill and trust through honest interaction. Finally, the group should be allowed to freely mingle as well as chat to ensure that they are relaxed(Palacios, 2013). Therefore, once these approaches are adequately utilized, it will be possible for the team to socialize freely and work together for the benefit of the organization.
