Request for an Introduction
Dear Melissa,
I trust that you are well. How was the excursion to Mount Kilimanjaro and the villages of Tanzania for you? Seeing you before you went for the trip was a wonderful experience considering that we had not met for a significant time. The meeting that we had during the social media luncheon in San Francisco, California over the last month was contributory to my knowledge regarding issues pertaining to communication. Furthermore, the convention provided a sufficient platform that facilitated personal engagements with some of the leaders within the online communication frontier.
I am personally reaching out to request for an introduction to the founder of the LinkedIn website, Jeff Weiner. As a student interested in establishing pertinent occupational connections, I am aware of the fundamentals and added advantage that Mr. Weiner would provide regarding issues based on professional networking. The rationale for this application is because I am starting a media site with some friends at my college in a bid to connect students to business opportunities provided within the local scene. The feedback that Mr. Weiner will provide, in respect to my cause, may prove effective and beneficial in developing an efficient, professional networking platform for the students and the entire school.
Additionally, I am interested in working at LinkedIn as an attaché. My experience in website development and keen enthusiasm for networking also act as an incentive for the motive of this letter. The lessons that I will attain, if provided with the opportunity to meet with Mr. Weiner and work for the company, will prove instrumental in enhancing my current skills. Furthermore, the skills will aid in developing the networking website for my university.
Please inform me regarding any supplementary information that you may require. Thank you for your aid and interest in this matter.
Sincerely,
