Develop a 2,500 – 3,5 00 word paper in which you create a plan to reduce project duration and create a project closure approach for Bjorn Ericksen’s team in the Whitbread World Sailboat race case study at the end of Chapter 9 in the Gray text.
Use the template provided (attached). Complete EACH area indicated.
As a minimum you will consider the following in the section of decreasing the project duration:
-What tasks are on the critical path?
-Can the tasks be reduced through precedent changes? (Tasks that must be completed or partially completed before the next task can start)
-Can you overlap or do two tasks simultaneously (consider available equipment, labor and materials)?
-Can you crash the task by using overtime and/or additional labor?
-What are the risks associated with reducing the task duration or order?
-What is the best case solution—eg., the one that saves the most time, with the least risk or budget impact?
