In Essay One, you clearly articulated your stance on a particular issue. Essay Two builds upon these skills as you begin with a clearly articulated stance on one of the national issues below, analyze a variety of solutions, and then choose or create a solution which you feel will be of the most benefit to the nation. Keep in mind that your solution may be to forbid something or to allow it to collapse (i.e., the solution to gay marriage is to forbid it, or the solution to the failing automobile industry is to let it die), but you must still analyze at least three solutions, and clearly articulate why your solution is better for the country than the ones you’ve analyzed.
One of the key aspects to a problem solution paper is making sure your solution is built well from the ground up. For instance, you might think the easiest solution to rising unemployment is to create jobs, and you but HOW we create jobs is the real question. Similarly, the solution to the failing newspaper industry may be to inject it with money but where does this money come from?
In Summary: Choose one of the national issues below, analyze at least three solutions, and pick or create a solution that you feel best tackles the issue in a way that will be most beneficial for America.
