Life and Work of Adrienne Rich

Read through that poet’s Selected or Collected Poems, research their biography, their personal aesthetic vision, and critical reception.  The result will be a 6-10 page essay that integrates these things into a continuous discussion.

Your essay will mix analysis of representative poems with the voices of critics and others who help you shed light on your poet’s work.  Be sure to use MLA format correctly, including parenthetical citations and a Works Cited page of four to eight sources.
