Each question should be separately answered in 3 pages.

1) Using the articles from last semester that we read and discussed, please expand on the role of a City Manager on managing the city, his relations with the City Council, and how these relationships may affect the tenure of a City Manager.
2) Also discussed last semester, please discuss the effectiveness of a City Council as it deals with setting policies. Include in your discussion ideas about a council that respects one another or does not respect one another. Also, discuss how this relationship among council members effects the city manager’s ability to lead and carry out the day-to-day activities of the city.
