Gender Identity or Sexual Identity

Students will critique three current journal articles on specified multicultural issues. Select an article from a recent (not older than 6 years) professional ACA division journal (e.g. The Journal of Counseling & Development; The Journal of Addictions & Offender Counseling) or ASCA Journal The School Counselor that deals with the topic assigned for each of the critiques listed below.
ü Critique 2 Topic Area: Gender Identity or Sexual Identity
In writing the critiques, please follow current APA guidelines, and are to be no longer than two pages in length. In the opening paragraph summarize the article. This summary should not be more than one-third the length of your entire critique. Present your personal reactions in the remainder of the critique. Include how you see the information from the article affecting your work with clients. Do not simply write an analysis of the research methodology or the article content as much as your reaction to it, as multicultural issues challenge each of us in very personal and different ways. Choose articles that challenge you. The full reference for the article is to follow the critique.
