Critical Reasoning and Information Analysis

At the end of Unit 1, a mid-term paper allows for a reflection on the learning of the materials of the first 5 weeks of the course. The task will be discussed in class and the students can complete the assignment in their study time. Though not required, it is encouraged that students complete the task in a collaborative manner. The mid-term paper can be submitted as an individual submission (with a word count between 550 and 650 words excluding title page and the Reference section) or as team paper (the length of the team paper is number of students multiplied by 600 words excluding title page and the Reference section).

The paper requires the students to describe, analyze and assess different perspectives related to reasoning on the same subject matter. For this, the instructor may use visual or written materials
